Apr 18th '06: The hunger strike has ended!
The Indian Government conceded to 4 of the 6 demands of the
Bhopalis, which include the following:
- Set up a National commission on Bhopal
- Provide safe drinking water
- Make Dow clean up the contaminated site and pay
- Remember Bhopal
But that isn't enough! Send a fax to the Indian PM to show
that we're watching them till their words get translated into
actions!
The remaining unfulfilled demands are:
- To prosecute Union Carbide and Warren Anderson
- To Blacklist Union Carbide and Dow
